Food machinery safety requirements checklist

The Italian Industrial Injury Compensation Board INAIL published a 2013 paper on its website with safety checks for food machines. It contains 11 technical data sheets, 9 of which are for specific food machines, those traditionally most often found in the workplace.

The project also includes two additional data sheets, the first on the minimum required contents of a declaration of conformity to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the second with specific indications on hygiene issues, technical requirements and general instructions to eliminate the risk of infection, disease and contagion.

The sheets were “created” with different objectives in mind, from the promotion of safety (the main safety and protection systems are specified in the sheets), to providing information on the consistency of the documentation to be enclosed with the food machine product.

Canopo Audit lets you create safety checklists, include explanatory notes on each check, and all the information required to perform it.
